It’s been 2 weeks since I have been able to post an update. I’m terribly sorry.
Shauna and my bestie did an awesome job on the fundraiser! Rooster and the Hens were also equally amazing with back up support selling tickets and giving general information. Barbara and Shauna’s gaggle of friends helped set up and also did a great job selling tickets and answering questions. Thank You to Craft Wine and Beer for allowing us to take over the business. I hope the bartenders enjoyed themselves too! I wanted to say Thank You to all of the businesses and friends that donated:

Queen and Adam Lambert with Mumsy, Hunzy and Ryan –
A few days after the Fun-Raiser I went to the Queen and Adam Lambert Concert in San Jose. I was smack in the middle of a chemo cycle and saved all of my energy for this fun filled evening. I did lower my daily dose as my feet have really been hurting. It was my first time at Ryan and Lee’s new home and it was like being in a fantasy forest! It was also really nice to get out of the triple digit heat that we’ve had in Reno. It was 65 degrees there and my feet and I loved it! The concert was INCREDIBLE! Adam Lambert is so freakin’ talented! Brian May and Roger Taylor were just as amazing!
Now for the cancer stuff –
I just finished Cycle #4 and as I said, my feet are really hurting and I’m super tired. Actually, the skin on my feet peels off like a snake molting and my hands are cracked. It creeps me out! I had lowered my daily chemo dose to 3000mg the last 7 days of this cycle. The Blood Guy told me to lower it when this happens. I look forward to seeing him tomorrow and hear what he has to say. I have my Zometa treatment tomorrow too. PET/CT Scan is scheduled for next week and promise I won’t take so long in posting the results!
